Three speakers playing spliced tracks from the 1988 film "Predator," featuring the audio from Bill Duke, Kevin Peter Hall, Arnold Schwartzenegger, Jessie Ventura, and Carl Weathers. Atop of the stack of amplifiers is a poorly constructed sculpture of a fantastical animal placed perching over the spectacle. 50 battery powered pet toys known as a "Weezl Ball" use their bodies to push a 5" diameter cup or "hole" in a random display on the floor or the "green" in this kinetic installation. The toy balls smash into another and push the "hole" or the focus of the game in a way that makes it impossible to complete. As the batteries fade and die, the manic and jovial energy presence of the game takes on a darker tone. The installation was one of a course including 18 artist installations, mimicking that of a miniature golf course. The event, titled Playing Thru , was benefit by and for the community of Sunset Park, Brooklyn, NY.
